Organizers browse your rooms and send a dated request with their budget and headcount. Accept or decline from the console — the calendar blocks itself either way, so you never double-book a room.

Rooms, capacities and spaces live in one place. Put your own events on sale alongside the ones organizers bring you, and the board out front counts them the same way.
Box office & door
Sell at the counter, scan at the door.
Walk-ups sell from the console at the same prices as the app. Every ticket carries a QR your door staff scan on a phone, and a scanned ticket dies immediately — the same code twice is refused at the door.

Takings you can see mid-shift.
Tonight’s take updates as tickets sell. Withdraw to your bank or your wallet when the balance clears — no invoice, no waiting on a statement at month end.

One thread per organizer.
The back-and-forth about load-in times and door splits stays attached to the booking it belongs to, so the person covering for you on Friday can read it.

Twelve percent, and that is the whole contract.
Venue pricing is where marketplaces get complicated on purpose. This one does not: one rate, taken at the moment of sale, reversed if the sale is.
One rate, both directions
ክስተት takes 12% of a ticket. That is the whole commercial relationship — there is no listing fee, no monthly, no per-scan charge, and no tier that unlocks the parts of the console you already saw.
Split where the money lands
USD sales settle through Stripe to your own connected account; ETB sales settle through Chapa to your wallet. Your share is separated at the moment of payment, so what arrives is already yours.
Refunds that reverse cleanly
A guest can refund in full until the event starts. When they do, our commission is clawed back with it — you are never left carrying a fee on a ticket you did not keep.
Withdrawals on your clock
Move a cleared balance out whenever you want it. Withdrawals are idempotent end to end, so a flaky connection at the moment you tap can never send the money twice.
Your team
The person on the door should not be able to withdraw the takings.
A room is not run by one person, so it should not be run from one login. Every member of staff gets their own, issued by your company, with a role that decides exactly what they see. Only an owner can move money.

We check the company is real and the room is yours. Verified rooms carry a badge, rank higher, and start receiving requests.

What does it cost to list?
Nothing. ክስተት takes 12% of tickets sold through it and charges nothing else — no listing fee, no subscription, no charge for the console or for extra staff logins.
Do I have to use ክስተት for ticketing?
No. Plenty of rooms list only to take booking requests and keep selling their own way. The booking side works on its own; ticketing is there when you want it.
Can my door staff see our takings?
Only if you give them a role that includes it, and the Door role does not. Door staff can scan tickets and nothing else — not the finance screens, not the payout account, not the withdrawal button.
Who owns the logins?
Your company does. Staff logins are issued from your Team screen against your company, not tied to someone’s personal phone number — so when a manager leaves you revoke a login rather than chasing an account.
How fast do I get paid?
A balance clears after the event it came from, then you withdraw on your own schedule. USD lands in the bank account on your Stripe profile; ETB lands in your mobile-money wallet.
We run a cinema, not a club.
There is a separate console for that, with screens, seat maps, showtimes and a film programme instead of rooms and nights. Register the same way and you will land in it.
